Happy DOER Day, Magick Makers! It’s time for the Natural Magickal Forecast for this week.

Y’all, the energy this week is WILD. Literally.

We’ve got:

• The Feast of Bendidia, celebrating the Thracian Goddess of the hunt, Bendis, on May 28 & the Feast of Epona, the Celtic horse goddess, coming up on June 13 (though the Romans celebrated her on December 18, just to be contrary)

• Big FIRE + AIR explosive energy of Saturn in Aries + a new moon in Gemini conjunct the sun, Mercury in its home sign, and expansive, lucky Jupiter

What that means for you is an opportunity to REWILD yourself. Strip away what holds you back, reprogram your mind, start from scratch, and head in a whole new direction.

Bendis - Forgotten Badass

Bendidia is one of my favorite Roman holidays because most people have never heard of Bendis, and I love introducing them to her badassery.

Bendis is a Thracian goddess who predates Artemis, the Greek Goddess of the Hunt. Think of her as Artemis’s untamed cousin who lives in the woods, hunts naked on horseback, and runs with a pack of wolves.

The feast of Bendidia is a celebration of instinct, intuition, and going after what we desire shamelessly, passionately, and relentlessly.

Meanwhile, in Celtic lore, Epona was known as the Great Mare, patron goddess of horses. Her feast (by the Celtic calendar) is also coming right up, making this the ideal time to take a ride on the back of a beast (even if that beast is a bicycle, work with what ya got).

Air + Fire = BOOM!

On the Astrological side, we’ve got structural Saturn & fantastical Neptune conjunct in fiery Aries, igniting our passion into action.

This is where the “why” finally meets the “how” as the fog of Pisces lifts and our next steps become clear.

But before you pop the champagne, keep in mind that those steps will be designed to challenge you in the specific ways that will help you grow the most. Sacrifices will be required, especially in the areas of comfort, convenience, and escapism. Prepare to release any and all distractions, addictions, excuses, illusions of security, etc. It’s time to get response-able and create a whole new set of mission-aligned habits.

Igniting that fire energy into a rocket-propelled explosion of new ideas and quantum leaps into heretofore unforeseen possibilities, we’ve got a party in the clouds at Gemini’s place.

• Mercury - the prodigal prodigy, home to share their adventures and inspire you to enjoy yours

• Jupiter - the gregarious DJ, expanding your mind with beats you’ve never even imagined, let alone heard before

• The New Moon - that special someone who changes your life just by showing up

You’ve probably heard that this new moon is offering us a “new start.” But remember that a new start is not an automatic outcome. It’s a shift in focus, a turn to a new direction. But you’re still starting from where you are, because you can’t start from where you’re not.
